Radio

Bertolt Brecht in the 1930's wrote that radios should be used as a two way communication tool. He thought of this before cell phones and Internet. This was a very good idea but the two way communication did not follow through with the radios but new inventions and technology came that allowed us to have two way communication with technology. For instance now we have cell phones and internet that we can use to talk to people or call when we need help. We also have the Internet to IM friends and family and we can use the internet as a educational use to inform us. But the radio has not just been stuck on just reallying us information now you can call radio stations and have your messages played while you are speaking to them. The Radio now has transformed to being a semi two way technology but not quite because there are still many radio stations that just relay messages to use but that is also important because sometimes a person just wants to be entertained and not talk or so anything but be entertained.

What you're saying is absolutely agreeable. During Bertolt Brecht's time there were no computers or cell phones so radio was the main source of communication (which i guess he didn't realize). But today, technology has advanced far greatly that radio is not just for "mere distribution" but communication as well as entertainment. There are many radio stations which provides hotline numbers, through which you can communicate with them and give your shout-outs.
It was a good argument.
